SINTERED SOFT MAGNETIC MATERIALS AND PRODUCTS FOR WORK IN INCONSTANT MAGNETIC FIELDS WITH INDUSTRIAL FREQUENCY


The production program of PRAMIZ Ltd includes a range of sintered soft-magnetic materials and products designed for work in inconstant magnetic fields with industrial frequency 50 - 60 Hz. They are based on the iron powder alloyed with a different content of phosphorus and silicon (FeSi, FeP, FeSiP) and powders of alloys of the iron and nickel (FeNi), or so called invar and permalloy. They stand out for their comparatively high values of magnetic induction (B), magnetic permeance () and specific electro-resistance () and a low coepcivity (Hc). This gives a possibility for achieving low power loss in the cores, made of these materials.

The products of the specified in the table materials find a range of applications such as: cores of acoustical and magnetic sensors and devises; stators and rotors of the step-by-step motor; cores of the relays and magnetic switches; drosels/chokes/, transformers and etc.

The products made by the methods of the powder metallurgy of the alloys FeSi, FeP, FeSiP and FeNi has a lot of advantages comparing to these that are cast and made with mechanical processing of billets or punched lamellas. Most of all this is: the low price as a result of the high productivity of the method and lack of any waste; a very good precision of the sizes without additional mechanical processing; no noises / as buzzing / during the work - an effect that is typical for a magnetic cores from punched lamellas.
